After long time of working, the jaw plate will be abraded, so that the discharging mouth will become wider than before; due to different requirements for the product granularity, there should be some adjustment devices used for adjusting the discharging mouth of the crusher.
At present, there are four adjustment devices for the discharging mouth of jaw crusher:
1. Wedge type adjustment device. It is suitable for medium and small-sized jaw crusher.
2. Change the rear toggle plate. Generally speaking, three to five rear toggle plates with different lengths are equipped, and using rear toggle plate with different lengths can adjust the width of the discharging mouth. It is suitable for large and medium-sized jaw crusher.
3. Change the number of the gasket. Between the toggle plate and the back wall of the machine, there are a group of grasps with the same thickness. Increasing or decreasing the number of the gaskets can adjust the discharging mouth. It is suitable for small jaw crusher.
4. Hydraulic adjustment device. Using the hydro-cylinder and the plunger device can adjust the discharging mouth. It is suitable for hydraulic jaw crusher.
