Recently, the global engineering machinery industry meeting and top 50 summit was successfully held in Beijing. Su Bo, vice minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology attended this meeting and disclosed the goal of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry for ten years in advanced: by 2020, strive to improve the shares of the sales income of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry in the equipment manufacturing industry to 25% and cultivate the high-end equipment manufacturing industry to the pillar industry of economic development. The twelfth five-year plan for high-end equipment is one of the seven specialized planning of strategic emerging industry and the market has been expecting much to this plan.
High-end equipment manufacturing industry is a strategic emerging industry leading by high and new technology and in the high end of the value chain and the core of the industrial chain, and it is the engine of pushing industrial transformation and upgrading. For this reason, during the period of the twelfth five year plan, we must strive to develop high-end equipment manufacturing industry to actively carry forward industrial transformation and upgrading.
Minister Su thinks that in recent years, the engineering machinery industry in our company has been developing very fast, but to comprehensively improve the core competitiveness of this industry, we should:
First, strengthen our capacity for independent innovation, especially in the aspect of weak link of the industry such as the key and core parts, and further improve the enterprise-centered and market-driven technology innovation system combining the roles of industry, academia and research institutes.
Second, promote the deep integration of informationization and industrialization and accelerate the move of the manufacturing pattern towards intelligentization, networked and servitization.
Third, promote the development of green and low-carbon and the transformation of the way of utilization of resources towards intensive, highly efficient, clean and safe and make great efforts to develop energy saving and emission reduction technology, equipment and services.
Fourth, accelerate the cultivation of the proprietary intellectual property rights and independent brand, promote the alliance between competitive enterprises, thoroughly implement the strategy of 'going global' and improve the level of international operation.
